Juan with ProGreen was amazing to work with! My yard had gotten super overgrown after weeks of neglect, and he completely brought it back to life. He took care of all the weeds, trimmed back my overgrown and dead trees, and made everything feel much cleaner and organized. He was very knowledgeable about all my plants and gave helpful tips on what they need, which I really appreciated. Super communicative, worked quickly, and just made the whole process easy. Juan has been our gardener/landscaper for almost seven years (we inherited him from the previous owner). He is friendly, easy to talk to, and loves plants. He is not a typical gardener. Our property is not typical - half of it is on a steep hill, and it has a very large variety and number of dry-climate plants as well as citrus and other fruits (no lawn). Juan has excellent knowledge of the different plants, and is able to recognize and solve problems and keep them healthy, attractive, and productive. He is competent with irrigation systems and has installed new sprinkler zones and added many plants (olives, large aeonium, etc). He built a new large stair, which is both attractive and well built, providing access to the highest part of the property, and has done other hardscape projects that add value (e.g., adding/reinforcing retaining walls). Juan will defer to the owner's wishes as to what work needs to be done, so it is worthwhile to plan and schedule regular maintenance as well as special projects.
